30 Day April Happiness Challenge

Spring is now in full swing with tomorrow being April which means a new month, new opportunities and new goals, and it also means that life begins to return back to normal in the UK, finally!

Each month I set myself a happiness challenge in my journal where I list out 30 or 31 tasks to complete throughout the month that will bring me happiness each day. I originally started doing this at the beginning of lockdown as a little pick-me-up in a time of uncertainty but I enjoyed it so much that I've stuck with it!

If you've read my blog for a while now, you'd know I love sharing content around wellness and personal-development, so I thought this would be a perfect activity to share with you to do throughout April. You don't have to do them in order, but make sure to write them down and tick off one activity each day as you go!

Task One. Call / See your family

Task Two. Try a new recipe

Task Three. Meditate

Task Four. Get up earlier than usual

Task Five. Read a book

Task Six. Have a no spend day

Task Seven. Try something new

Task Eight. Have a productive day

Task Nine. Watch your favourite TV show / movie

Task Ten. Have an early night

Task Eleven. Dedicate a day towards working on your goals

Task Twelve. Have a pamper day

Task Thirteen. Eat healthy all day

Task Fourteen. Do something creative

Task Fifteen. Treat yourself to something

Task Sixteen. Clean your home / room / apartment

Task Seventeen. Call / See a friend

Task Eighteen. Learn something new

Task Nineteen. Put on fresh bedsheets

Task Twenty. Listen to a podcast

Task Twenty One. Exercise

Task Twenty Two. Have a lie in

Task Twenty Three. Find some new music

Task Twenty Four. Go for a walk

Task Twenty Five. Have a movie night with candles

Task Twenty Six. Step out of your comfort zone

Task Twenty Seven. Catch up with an old friend

Task Twenty Eight. Have a PJ day / allow yourself to have a rest & reset day

Task Twenty Nine. Go outside

Task Thirty. Write down / check in with your goals

  4. This is such a wonderful idea! I've started to wake up earlier each day, even though I'm on my week long break. I also love the idea of a no spend day- I'll definitely be doing more of those.
