December Glossybox Product Reviews

Every month I get so excited when the postman turns up to my door with my Glossybox. I mean who wouldn't want a surprise box of 5 different products to try out each month? I definitely do and it's my little treat to myself that always ensures my skincare, haircare and makeup collections are stocked up!

I've been using Glossybox since the start of the year now but I've never done a blog post on what I've received. This month I was amazed at some of the products, as always, so I thought I'd share them with you for anyone thinking of joining the subscription service in the New Year.

Symbiosis Glycolic Acid + R.N.A Overnight Rejuvenating Eye Serum (RRP £102)

The main product in this months box was a full-size luxury eye serum from Symbiosis. Now, I'm someone who LOVES my sleep and because of this I never tend to use eye creams, but since moving apartments and having builders wake me up every single morning at 7am, safe to say it's become my new best friend.

What I like about this serum is that it is lightweight and does a good job at de-puffing tired eyes as it's main ingredient, Glycolic Acid, firms the skin. This product retails for £102 making it one of the most expensive products I think I've received so far in a Glossybox, so safe to say I'm extremely happy with this product!

Nailberry Nail Polish (RRP £15)

If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably noticed that I only ever have my nails painted white. I can never be bothered with the decision fatigue of choosing a nail colour so white is definitely my go-to. Saying that, I used to wear red nail polish all the time when I was younger so it has crossed my mind to use it again.

I'm so happy that this product was included in the Glossybox as not only is the colour of the polish gorgeous but Nailberry is actually a cruelty-free brand and is natural! If you've read a few of my previous skincare posts you'll know that I only ever purchase brands which are completely cruelty free and are as natural as possible and I didn't even know you could purchase natural nail polishes! You learn something new every day.

Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks (RRP £4)

Again, Glossybox came through with the products to help my overly tired eyes with gold eye masks! I haven't actually tried these masks out yet as I'm waiting to treat myself to an ultimate relaxation evening but from reading some reviews online they seem like they do an amazing job! Let me know if you want me to do a separate review of these maybe? I'll be happy to do some product testing while sipping wine this Christmas!

Basic Beauty Coloured Emery Boards (RRP £2.50)

If you are confused on what an emery board is, like I was, it's basically a fancy name for a foam nail file. This box came with two nail files but again, I haven't used these yet as I've been wearing acrylics, but a girl can never have too many nail files!

Sport FX Detangling Brush (RRP £4.99)

Now, I know that not everyone received this product in their box as it wasn't included in the product catalogue but detangling brushes are a curly girls best friend and are basically the only brushes I use on my hair after the shower! It is a compact size so great to be able to throw in your bag for on the go and the bristles are the right strength to minimise hair breakage.

Let me know if you enjoyed this little haul of what I received in this months box and if you would like me to make these posts monthly!

  1. I've tried Glossybox before and I should have restarted it in November when the monthly cost was reduced in the Black Friday sale. Kind of regretting it now, getting a full size product that retails for £102 makes it worth it!

    1. I'd definitely recommend signing up - there is also an option to pay monthly which you can cancel at any time and I think that's only an extra £2/£3 per month x

  2. Those gold eyemasks sound like something I'd love to try! I also like the sound of the serum, I'm a huge fan of anything moisturizing especially for the eyes. Thanks for sharing your review! xx
